About centers

The Digital Innovation Research Center (DX Research Center) at Korea University was established to conduct national research and development in the field of digital innovation, research on digital policy, and commercialize digital technologies with the goal of solving national and social problems through the convergence of humanities and science and technology.

The core research capabilities are leading (1) R&D and (2) policy research in the field of digital convergence, including national science and technology research planning, national data and digital transformation policy research, commercialization of digital innovation technologies, and digital competency training (for public officials, corporate employees, K-12, and university students).

His main research areas include regional innovation in regional development and tourism, industrial digital transformation (DX), mydata, artificial intelligence big data, blockchain, metaverse, fintech, and ODA, and he has established a network of collaborations with institutions and companies within and outside of Korea University.
